We don’t know what led Zack and his brother Cody to end up in the shelter system, but we do know their time was almost up. Both boys were on the final countdown, with only hours left before they were out of chances. Thankfully, we were able to step in just in time and offer them the second chance they so deserved.

Since arriving at the Ranch, 3-year-old Zack has quickly shown us what a sweet and affectionate boy he is. He’s loving the attention from our Kennel Team and dedicated volunteers and is adjusting beautifully to his new surroundings. Zack walks well on a leash and is always alert, taking in the world around him with curious eyes.

At the shelter, Zack passed his dog-to-dog test with dogs his size. While we haven’t introduced him to our other Coastal K9 pack members just yet, we plan to find him a suitable companion once he’s fully settled in.

This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
