Hello Everyone,

Sterling is a friendly 2–3-year-old a black and silver German Shepherd who’s already making a great impression with our kennel team and volunteers with his friendly, easygoing nature. While at the shelter, Sterling was kenneled with another male. He also did well when a dog to dog interaction evaluation was conducted with another. (**Please keep in mind that dogs that pass the evaluation process does not necessarily mean they will get along with every single dog. Dogs and their evaluations are based on the chemistry that they have with the particular dog they are with.)

Sterling is affectionate, walks nicely on leash, knows how to sit, and truly enjoys the company of his new volunteer friends. As he settles into life at the Ranch and gets comfortable with his new routine, we’ll work on finding him a compatible playmate. Please stay tuned as we get to know Sterling better and watch his story unfold.

If you are interested in meeting this dog, please fill out our online application first. Contact us via email at info@coastalK9gsr.org. The minimum adoption donation ranges from $350 to $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
