Meet Lottie! 🖤🐾

Lottie is a beautiful 1–2-year-old black and tan German Shepherd who recently joined the Coastal K9 pack after a difficult stay in the shelter system.

During her time at the shelter, Lottie was kenneled with other dogs and did well, even participating in a couple of play groups. Unfortunately, later in her stay, she found herself being bullied by the dogs she was kenneled with. We’re incredibly thankful we were able to bring Lottie to safety and give her a fresh start away from the chaos and stress of the shelter before her time ran out.

Since arriving at the Ranch, Lottie has shown us what a friendly, energetic and playful girl she is. One of her absolute favorite things is a ball! Give Lottie a ball and she can entertain herself, dropping it, chasing it and starting the game all over again as she races around the play yard.

So far, Lottie has been friendly with the dogs she’s met at the Ranch and recently enjoyed a successful play date with Eddie. We’re looking forward to introducing her to more potential canine friends as we continue getting to know her.

Lottie is also easy to walk on leash and seems genuinely grateful for every bit of attention and affection she receives.

After everything she experienced at the shelter, Lottie now has the chance to simply be a young dog again. Playing, making friends and enjoying people who care about her. Next on our list is finding the forever family who will give this sweet girl the life she deserves.
