Jasper is a stunning 1 year-old black and red German Shepherd with a truly classic look, from the tip of his nose to the end of his tail. Though he’s destined to fill out to a large dog, Jasper still thinks he’s a six-month-old puppy and barrels toward you at full speed like a line back only Jasper thinks he’s only 50lbs. His affectionate nature shines through in every wag and playful nudge; he’s convinced that every human is just waiting to give him belly rubs.

Jasper’s best friend at the Ranch is Avery. They love playing and roughhousing together. They’re perfectly matched in size, age and energy, and watching them play is like witnessing a mesmerizing fire, constant, blazing joy that you never want to look away from. Even as he grows into a big, handsome dog, Jasper will always be our forever baby: exuberant, loving, and endlessly ready for the next adventure.

This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
