We don’t know how little Dash ended up at the shelter, but we’re so grateful we were able to step in and give him the second chance he deserves. On the smaller side and estimated to be just 10–18 months old, Dash is still very much a puppy at heart. While at the shelter, Dash did well when a dog to dog interaction evaluation was conducted with another dog his size. (**Please keep in mind that dogs that pass the evaluation process does not necessarily mean they will get along with every single dog. Dogs and their evaluations are based on the chemistry that they have with the particular dog they are with.)

So far at the Ranch Dash has shown us his fondness of other dogs and enjoys being around other dogs. He loves walking alongside his canine friends and playing off-leash in our play yards. Foxxy has already welcomed him with open paws, proudly showing off her moves during their playdates, and Dash is more than happy to keep up! While at the shelter, Dash did great during his dog-to-dog evaluation, which comes as no surprise given his friendly, social nature.

This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
