I took in 2 stray shepherds from Lake Matthews area of Perris in 2023 and we got them vetted, microchipped, and spayed. They went to a family eventually nearby with covered patio, large back yard and doggie door access to garage. They got to hang out with lots of children and play date with neighbors male dog. On 7-26-25 I picked them up at Riverside Animal Shelter because they were found dumped and the family moved out of state. They told me they were going to move and fly them out there- I guess plans changed and the mother dumped them out of area. Luckily they are chipped.

Our family is able to keep Penny but we need a home for Star. Star is more the alpha and food dominant. I leave food out there for them to free feed so fighting isn’t such a big thing. They are not chunky. Star is also more obedient- she will sit, down and off. Walking alone without Penny I enjoy her much more. With Penny she is a bit more reactive to barking dogs. Alone she is good. I still can manage them on walks together without too much hassle. More peaceful on solo walks. Star is also good with people. Today a stranger guy came by and she barked, but isn’t over the top aggressive. She backed away from the chain-link gate and just barked and retreated.

If you are interested in more information about Star, please contact Christy at, curesma1@gmail.com, or 951-809-3313
