This is a courtesy post for Jethro:
Jethro arrived to us in November emaciated, weighing only 45lbs, intact, with obvious signs of living long term on concrete, and with zero training. All he knew was how to be in a crate. Bringing him into a house was clearly a new experience for him. Jethro now weighs close to 70lbs, has been neutered and received all of his shots, and is well on his way with obedience training.
He is a sweet goofy dog who loves his people, likes to wrestle, is gentle with small children, and is willing to protect his home if needed. He is estimated to be between 1 and 3 years old. He does best with a consistent routine and a knowledgeable handler. While he does require daily exercise and mental stimulation in the form of training games, a mile walk or a game of fetch a day is all it takes and he's happy to be a couch potato the rest of the time.Jethro is a special needs dog who requires medication with his food due to EPI.
