Some dogs find their forever homes quickly, while others wait patiently, wondering when their turn will come. At Coastal K9, we have incredible dogs who, for reasons we can’t quite understand, keep getting passed over. But make no mistake—these dogs are loving, loyal, and so deserving of a second chance. ❤️

Each of them has a story. Each of them has a heart full of love to give. And each of them is waiting for someone to finally see them for the amazing dog they truly are. This is Oscar:

* Oscar is little Joe Pesce
* He drove down from Riverside with another Dog (Opal one he didn’t even know)
* For some reason, he attached himself to her like glue and she became his emotional support dog
* Any time Opal is taken out for a walk, little Oscar howls and barks like he was completely abandoned.
* His BFF was adopted out, and Oscar is at a complete loss. We have tried other females with him, and he just turns away.
* Oscar, our little Low Rider, is sweet cuddly, and super funny, he also has the “snobbish” side of the Husky breed
* He would do well living in the City.

If you are interested in meeting this dog, please fill out our online application first. Contact us via email at info@coastalK9gsr.org. The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
