LIFE HAPPENS – Sometimes we just can’t help what comes our way. This is the case for MARMADUKE, a beautiful 5-6 year old Black and Red GSD who was adopted from us back in 2020. Unfortunately, life threw MARMADUKE’s family a curve ball and they didn’t have the time to spend with him anymore that he deserves. Through no fault of his own, he was returned back to Coastal so he could find a family that could give him what he needs.

.

We welcomed MARMADUKE with open arms and did our best to help him feel comfortable on his first day back, but it will take a couple days for him to settle in. As you can imagine, things are very confusing for him right now. He doesn’t understand why he is at this place called the Ranch. We let him know that he is loved and we will work hard to find him a new home.

.

MARMADUKE is a wonderful dog. He is great with people and he does well with other dogs. We aren’t quite sure yet if small dogs fit into that mix, but medium to large dogs, yes. He is very affectionate and loves to be with people. He is housebroken and knows his basic commands. His former family used to bring him to the dog park where he would spend the 1st ten minutes exploring all the sniffs, then it was all about the ball. Did we mention he loves to play ball?? If you are looking for a great companion this happy boy may be the right dog for you.
