Hi friends my name is Maisie! 2024 has started as a great year for me as that is when I was rescued by Coastal. As soon as I came to the ranch I knew that I was surrounded by friends and people who cared about me. One of my first friends at the ranch was Kash; we could play for HOURS in a yard together. I love having the chance to run and play in a fenced yard.

When I first came to the ranch I was more focused on bonding with my buddy Kash rather than my volunteer friends but recently, I have become quite affectionate with some of the volunteers! Most days when some of my favorite people come to take me on walks, we spend the first 5 to 10 minutes sitting on a bench while they give me all the pets. I love to be touched! My rescuers are still getting to know all of my traits so that they can find me the perfect home. So far they have discovered that I get along with most dogs but I do not like to be around cats. My ideal furever family would have to be one where there are no cats around. I am a super affectionate girl who wants more than anything to find a bond with a person or family that I know will love me! I can't wait to meet you!

This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
