Maggie's Misty

MISTY was one of 9 puppies that we rescued last Fall along with their mom MAGGIE. They were the cutest bunch of puppies all with different personalities. Today, we still have 2 of MAGGIE’s puppies available for adoption. ,MINNIE and MISTY. MISTY is staying in a foster home right now while MINNIE is at the Ranch. If you might be interested in fostering MINNIE, let us know!

MISTY’s foster mom provided some insight about this cute girl we wanted to share with you.

“Misty just turned 1 year old on May 22. She loves other dogs and has enjoyed playing with her Coastal friends. Her ideal home would have at least one other playful dog. Misty completed basic training last Fall, and knows sit, stay, down, and "paw". We are currently working on the come and "leave it" commands. She walks nicely on leash but can get overly excited when we pass other dogs across the street.

Misty likes to chase lizards, gophers and birds. She isn't interested in chasing a ball but likes to chew on durable toys like Nylabones. She is crate-trained, housebroken and rides well in the car. Misty is a little wary of new people and places. She continues to improve her social skills but would not be a good fit for a home with young children. Misty is a smart girl, who will make a great family member with continued socialization and training..”

Our Fosters provide such valuable information. MISTY is a nice dog who is waiting patiently for the right family to come along. As you can see by the pictures, she has fun and likes to play with other dogs.

If you are interested in meeting this dog, please fill out our online application first. Contact us via email at The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400.
