LUNA joined our rescue last year along with her two puppies. She is a beautiful, smaller (65 lbs.) German Shepherd. She is about 3 years-old, but still has a bit of puppy energy. LUNA enjoys runs, hikes, and walks with her human keepers, and is easy on a leash. She is house-trained and knows to do her business in "the zone" outside. She has been trained on basic tasks (sit, stay, go-lay-down, wait, no, leave-it), and is smart enough for more training.
.She has a very healthy appetite and responds well to treat rewarded training. LUNA is also crate-trained and has no problem spending time in her crate.
LUNA is very people friendly and loves spending time with her foster people. She is also friendly with new adults, but has had limited interactions with young children thus far. She is not aggressive at all, but does have a good, strong bark when the door-bell rings or strangers walk by the yard, but quiets quickly when commanded (i.e., safe watchdog.)
LUNA is also good with other dogs. She defers to and respects older dogs, and likes to play with younger ones. LUNA is a very sweet, smart, energetic German Shepherd that is ready for a forever-family.
