Kendall

Kendall

8mo / Female

Coat: Standard

White and Silver

Back in June we introduced you to a little 8-month old GSD/Husky mix we rescued named Kendall. This gal is full of sweet affection and puppy exuberance. As little and petite as she is, Kendall has all the moves and loves to play with the big dogs. She’s not afraid of rough and tumble romping, as a matter of fact she may prefer it!

Kendall was invited to spend time with one of our foster families who have 2 Coastal GSD’s. We love our fosters as they are able to give us some insight to the dogs since they are with them all the time. Here’s a few of her insights to our spunky KENDALL from her foster mom.

“Kendall is a very sweet and friendly dog. Being a puppy, she is very rambunctious and high energy. She LOVES to play and does well with other dogs who are willing to run and wrestle with her. She would do well with a large yard in which she can stretch her legs. She does need to be placed in her crate periodically just to give herself and the other dogs a break as she has boundless energy.

Kendall loves food! While she will get into the trash if she thinks there may be food in it, she has never destroyed anything in the house. The backyard was a different story as she loves to dig and chew on things. I would recommend she be supervised or crated when her caregiver can’t be with her just to be sure she doesn't hurt herself or get into something that’s not good for her.”

We agree with Kendall's foster mom in that she would be good with older kids who would play with her and give her lots of attention as she is very loving and likes affection.

As Kendall is still a puppy, and a high energy one at that, she would need an active family who can meet her energy needs, and a family who will continue working with her in her training. If that home came with a resident dog, that would be even better!
