Julia is a stunning 2-year-old female German Shepherd. She has had the benefit of living with one of our volunteer foster families for the last several months and she has made such great progress. Her true personality has shown, and she has proven herself to make a wonderful addition to a family. Unfortunately, Julia has some scars from her early life prior to rescue which has left her very fearful of men, but, she definitely LOVES female (human) companionship!
Julia is smart, loyal and very athletic! Julia loves to play with her person, go for walks, swim, and is friendly, gentle and playful with all the dogs she meets. She has a strong prey drive so she loves to play with balls and is very interested in birds and squirrels.
Julia is housebroken and has learned great manners from her foster family! She has never chewed anything in the house, walks calmly on a leash and knows basic obedience commands. If you’re active and would love a truly loving and loyal companion who has a great balance of play and chill, Julia is the dog for you. Come meet her today!
If you are interested in meeting this dog, please fill out our online application first. Contact us via email at info@coastalK9gsr.org. The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
