Boss (aka Dante) recently returned to our rescue. As with all of our dogs, we welcomed him back with open arms. Unfortunately for Boss, his return had nothing to do with him or any behavior issues. As a matter of fact, the family couldn't be more heartbroken to have had to make this difficult decision. Life threw the family a curveball that changed everything for them. They knew they could no longer provide the life that he was used to and deserved.
Boss is a wonderful senior dog. He is very friendly with people and loves children. He also gets along with other dogs. He is a big boy too! Even at his senior age, this handsome boy is still playful and is very affectionate.
Boss doesn't quite know what's happening right now or where his family went. Kennel life at the Ranch is difficult for senior dogs. Thankfully we were able to place him in foster care in a wonderful home where he will receive plenty of love and support during this new phase of his life.
If you have a heart for senior dogs and are interested in pouring love into this wonderful dog, please let us know!

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
