Ahri "Little Gazelle"

Ahri "Little Gazelle"

7 weeks / Female

Hi Everyone!

Ahri is a sweet little puppy who we recently rescued. In her foster home we are learning just what a gem she is. Ahri loves to run like the wind or like a little Gazelle. This little girl has so much control over her legs, not what you would normally see in a puppy her age. She loves to zoom around the yard with toys and with the other dogs. She is an amazing sight to see.

In her crate, she loves to sleep on her stuffed toy, a hedgehog that makes for a great pillow. She loves to chew on her Buffalo horn and play with her squeaky toys.

Ahri loves to play with the resident alpha dog, a not quite 5 pound little toy mix who makes sure Ahri knows that he's boss. She is very respectful of him. She is also very fond of the two German Shepherds that she lives with. She is very respectful of their mature stage in life and tries her best not to pester them.

Ahri is doing very good with her potty training. While she is very sweet, she is still a German Shepherd and we want to make sure she gets the right home. Another dog in the home would be best, but if not, then a life where she has interaction with other dogs is a necessity. Her family needs to have experience with the breed.

If you are interested in meeting this dog, please fill out our online application first. Contact us via email at information@coastalgsrsd.org. The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
