I would need to replace my sheaperd soon. At 13 years old, his back hind are pretty weak, and I have been owning a sheaperd since 1999. Nitro is my second one, and looking for a third to replace him. Trained for personal protection by the ex owner, he is a 27/7 companion. If my dog is not welcome, I am not also, kind of deal.
I do street preaching, live on my motorcycle and drive around with Niro on it. We left Canada 3 months ago, and rolled over 6000 miles together. He watch my stuff everywhere I go, he is never on a leach, keep "stays" undisturbable for over half an hour, and follow my steps closely. My dogs have the best life ever, as very good advices have been provided to me by this personal protection extremely successful trainer.
I do a lot of traveling as a street preachers, and he cover my back perfectly. We are a solid team, but he is tired, and I can feel that he want to finish with life. It break my heart to see him forcing his health to keep an eye on me, so devotion is so strong on them. When I received Nitro, my second dog, my first took a month to die, so he had cancer recessiveness for tow years, fighting it back to stay with me. I see Nitro the same today, and he need replacement. If you have one Tuff guy, brave and hi desier to please, I would be very happy to give him a sheaperd's life. So far, for the complexity of life, and demand of work I need, only a " working quality" ( no show dog!) sheaperd can do. I also know that being with him full time is miraculous on the possibilities a dog can achieve.
I am in san diego for a while, so if something coincide with my need, I would be extremely happy to get a new tool of survival.
